-Drive to the Beijing Acrobatics Theatre for Acrobatic Show. Upon arrival at the theatre, you will be taken to your seat with the assistance of both your tour guide and theatre staff.

-The Acrobatic Show lasts for about one and a half hours. It has become one of the most popular forms of evening entertainment for tourists in Beijing. You can enjoy gravity-defying contortionism, juggling, unicycling, chair-stacking, plate-spinning acts and more.

Tour Schedule:

-Pick up at your hotel between 7:20am and 8:30am by our group coach, and then drive to Beijing Zoo where you can see the lovely Giant Pandas. The Panda House visit takes about 40 minutes.

-Then visit the largest Beijing Lama Temple. Tour the mysterious Tibet-style Buddhism temple for about an hour (finishes at about 11:00). Before having lunch, you will have 45 minutes to visit the traditional Chinese silk carpet factory.

-Enjoy a lunch with locals in a typical Beijing resident’s house (Lunch Included).

-After lunch, visit the old Beijing Hutong alleys by rickshaw. Hutong tour lasts for two hours. This includes a visit to a typical Chinese Siheyuan primary school as well as the Bell Tower. With the Hutong tour you can explore the real life of ordinary people in Beijing. You will relax and taste Chinese Tea at a local tea ceremony.

-We will arrange about 30-40 minutes to take pictures outside the Bird’s Nest. If you are interested in the inner structure of the stadiums, the tour guide will assist you in buying the tickets, and you can visit the stadium by yourself.

-We will provide group transportation back to your hotel.

-Drive to the Ming Tombs (Dingling) – the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with over 500 years of history. Visit the Ming Tombs for 2 hours (until 11:00). Afterwards have a short stop to see a jade carving factory and learn about the stone carvings. Shopping time alotted.

-Enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.

-After lunch, we will tour the Great Wall at Mutianyu which is known for its beautiful surroundings- dense woods and rich pastures that change colors with the seasons. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, Mutianyu used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. If you would like to reach the highest point, cable car is optional.

-Transfer to the Beijing urban area for an exterior visit of both the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest). Proceed to a famous Chinese tea house to enjoy a traditional tea ceremony.

-After an entire day of touring, you are transferred back to your different hotels around 6:00pm.

-Visit Changling, the head and the largest tomb of the Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle (the first emperor in Beijing) and his Empress Xu were buried. Touring the Ming Tombs takes about 1 hour and finishes around 10:45. You will then visit a Jade Carving Factory for 45 minutes. Jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of the excellent skills of carving and Chinese traditional cultures.

-Enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at 11:30 at the Jindian Restaurant.

-After lunch, drive to the Badaling Great Wall — the most famous and best-preserved sectin of the wall. Hike at Badaling for 2 hours. A cable car is available to reach the top. On the way back to your hotels, make a short stop outside of “the Bird’s Nest”— the main Olympic Stadium for the 2008 Olympic Games. After that, you will have a chance to learn about the Chinese traditional Silk arts.

-Transfer back to your hotel after a full day of touring.

-Then visit the Summer Palace for about 1.5 hours. It is the largest and most beautiful imperial garden in China.
